The project site is surrounded by native mountains, forests and waters, with plenty local natural resources. But it was really a great challenge for the designers to well integrate such unique geographical resources into an ecologically cultural landscaping product. It might lead to pretentious designing if the designers blindly pursued to bring natural elements into a project in a mechanical way. Moreover, a mechanical residential landscape must be lack of the human-oriented livable atmosphere expected by Chengdu citizens.
As the advocate and practitioner of preserving native cultures, L&A Design Group insisted on bringing traditional Chinese landscaping culture into ordinary daily life. In this project, the design team integrated local ecologically cultural elements into their design, to create a cozy idyllic residential paradise for residents, achieving a brand new lifestyle by the harmonious and friendly interaction between people, environment and architecture. It is a typical landscape architecture project that well integrates contemporary context and traditional Chinese garden design elements into the existing natural aesthetics, by which reasonable design for eco landscape is perfectly embedded in the Nature.
