Zhengda IC Plaza, the former military training ground in Yangzhou, is located along the Mini-Qinhuai River in the historical city center. L&A Design Group well integrated traditional Chinese elements into the design in a modernizing way, emphasizing its simplicity, characteristics and architectural uniformity. To focus on the design of streets and lanes, the designers paid great attention to the details, creating functional spaces and making a harmonious visual dialogue between the history and modernity in this ancient city. Some new local cultural elements are also inserted into this urban landscape synthesis, to well connect each functional landscaping space as a whole.
