In this project, landscaping elements from traditional Chinese Jiangnan garden are widely adopted and well integrated into functional spaces. The design shows both natural beauty and exquisite beauty everywhere in this demonstration area, making the scenery change along with each moving step by visitors. Aesthetically, lotus-leaf shaped umbrellas are set by the side of reflecting pool at the main entrance. Their reflections in the water create peaceful Zen ambience for residents here when they are on the way home.
