Changshu, a county-level city in Suzhou, has long been known as a piece of treasure land in Jiangnan (south of Yangtze River). Yu Mountain School in Changshu is also one important branch of Chinese Zither. The design of this project draws inspiration from these artistic local features. By conceptualizing Chinese Zither, the scheme successfully delineates the exquisiteness of nature with the regular lines and delivers a rich spatial experience with the curated sequence. Along with the application of the contemporary design language, the design team creates a culture-featured residential community which is not only tranquil and ethereal, but also poetic and exquisite. This small plot of land becomes a place where nature and art, passion and serenity harmoniously coexist and interact.
