Chengdu Shi Li Rural Waterfront Resort, located in the western of Sichuan, is a composite demonstration area of a rural high-quality sphere of life. Based on the existed site status, the design extracts the site features such as poetic pastoral scenery, special waterside charm, and unique lifestyle of Linpan settlements in Chengdu Plain, integrating them well with ancient local culture, history and local intangible cultural heritages such as bamboo weaving handicrafts. This project is trying to place human into a broader nature, creating a tranquil pastoral paradise with the style of wild luxury for local people, who are embraced by warm aura from their familiar daily elements.
