Green Belt of Zhuhang Entry to Shenhai Expressway in NETDA
Project Location: NETDA
Project Type: Public Landscape
Landscaping Area: 108,218 ㎡
Design Time: 2015
Completion Time: Second Half of 2017
Project Client: The Headquarters of NETDA
Landscape Architecture: Public Construction Team II, Shanghai Branch, L&A Design Group
The project site is located in an area with highly variable height difference. But the design team did not rudely raze it, nor did they let it develop itself into an "irregular green space" without good looking.
With full respect to the existing landform of the site, a huge magnificent scene of "Green Wave" was designed and built. It looks like a kind of rough landscape art in appearance. Actually, such rough and wild green space was elaborately designed. Compared with the exquisite gardening techniques, this magnificent greenery scene-making is more suitable for the visual experience of automobile drivers. No matter how delicate the designing details are, it is meaningless for a driver at a speed of 40km/h on the expressway. At a quick glance, the drivers enjoy the friendly balance between nature, city and people when they are driving through this magnificent scene of "Green Wave".
