Children who grow up by the sea will always be attached to the sea, even if they have left their hometown.
The sea, representing the unknown and the mystery, has been there since tens of billions of years ago. People there attach themselves to this ancient and powerful sea. In the designer’s childhood, his favorite place was the beach, where he could dig sand, catch crabs, and listen to legends about the sea. Now that young designer has grown up, he put his love towards life into the design for life.
During the process of designing the city we live, the first question we encounter is how to make a corner park with a limited area into a comprehensive site that is aesthetic, functional and could meet different demands?
Things first appeared into our minds in this project were the keywords like "to realize the dialogue between nature and architecture", "bionic design" and "to enhance the marine culture". Since the framework has already existed, why not present our space accordingly?
Bionic design is not simply a reproduction of the style, but a state that is formed naturally after the combination and precipitation of aesthetics, functions, and relationships. We think it is comfortable, harmonious, and practical, and such understanding is interpreted totally through the form, texture and behavior used by our design.
