The project is designed with a theme of "urban landscape". Here the traditional Chinese garden is reinterpreted by a modern approach to well preserve the unique urban fabric and context of Hangzhou. The design takes Guozhuang as references and extract the essence of it. Guozhuang is one of the most typical classical native gardens in Hangzhou. It is famous for creating natural landscape in an artificial environment. Following its spirit, the design team introduce natural elements of rock and water into this project. Embraced by rockeries and waterscapes, a poetic livable community is built for residents to enjoy a secluded life in the bustling city. Natural and tranquil ambience is well integrated into daily urban life.
