China Merchants Scenery Bay Demonstration Area with Yueya River, Tianjin

The project is located in the sub-center of TianGangLiuLin District, Tianjin. Surrounded by Haihe River and Yueya River, it is planned to be the seventh largest node of Haihe District. With abundant surrounding natural resources, the human-oriented ecological design was applied to create a high-end natural and green residential area filled with vitality and glamour.
The project design was inspired by Wright’s Prairie-style with natural textured materials and warm colors. Characterized by horizontal lines and free interior spaces, the design satisfies clients' visual requirements and creates scenery changes with moving steps. In addition, the existed trees were preserved as many as possible to create an ecological, artistic and cultural landscape along the river. The delicate details and modern design techniques are well integrated in the project.
The modern and fashionable landscaping techniques are applied to build a simple and atmospheric space, resulting in a harmonious coexistence between human, culture and nature. The integration of friendly waterscape, winding paths, light corridors, beautiful plans, mottled light and shadow under the sun, etc. contributes to a relaxed and pleasant poetic environment. The carefully designed plant palette becomes one of the highlights in this project. Full of modern and natural charm in this residential area is achieved by the dense vegetation background, large open lawn, rich plants and the selected trees. Finally, the Scenery Bay, located in the future sub-center of Tianjin, will become a livable residence within ecological, natural, cultural, artistic and warm ambience.
